The Churches of Christ are autonomous Christian congregations associated with one another through common beliefs and practices. We seek to base  our doctrine and practice on the Bible alone; to be a New Testament congregation as originally established by the authority of Christ. We find our direction for our services, beliefs and mission in the book of Acts, trying to do things in the same way the first church did, as Jesus had instructed them.

Our church has its roots in the independent movements that occurred through the leadership of people such as Thomas and Alexander Campbell, Walter Scott, and Barton W. Stone.  These churches were part of what was known as the Restoration Movement, seeking to "restore" the church to it's original form. These leaders had declared their independence from various denominations, seeking a fresh start to restore the New Testament church to what Christ had intended it to be, abandoning man-made creeds. The names "Church of Christ" and "Christian Church"  were adopted because these terms were used to describe the church in the Bible.

In all things we seek to follow the Bible, because we believe it to be the true and inspired Word of God.
Our Foundations...
What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Believe...Salvation begins with faith in God: God as Father, God as creator, God as Sustainer of the universe; it is also founded upon faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. John 3:16

Repent....To repent means to change direction. It doesn’t just mean to be sorry for sin, it means to change from a lifestyle of sin to a lifestyle of obedience. It literally signifies making a U-turn. Acts 17:30

Confess...Anyone who makes a decision to follow Christ or wishes to become a member God's church is asked to repeat a confession – a very simple, and Biblical, statement of faith. “I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” Romans 10:9-10

Be Baptized...Act upon your belief. Baptism, by immersion, is the example set for us by Jesus Himself. Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16

Live a Christian Life...Live as a follower of Christ; a new creature. Continue to learn and grow in your faith. Eph. 4:22-24
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42

Our worship service is based on this Scripture every Sunday. We hear a sermon to encourage us in the week ahead, to instruct us in the way we should go, and to teach us God's Word. We fellowship with one another, greeting visitors, talking to friends, encouraging those who need it among us. We celebrate Communion, the Lord's Supper every Sunday. We pray together several times during the service.

Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19

Music touches our hearts, and pleases our Lord. Our 10:00 Worship Service is a Blended Service. A blended service, simply put, is a mixture of traditional music (hymns) and more contemporary songs and choruses.

Our 5:30 LIFT service is a Contemporary Service. A contemporary service has a lot more “Top 40” Christian music. Some are fast, some are slow, but all of them are sung to glorify God.
